The “New iPad” Raises the Stakes Again… Almost

07 Mar
Apple raises the stakes again with the latest iPad.  I’ve been an iPad 2 owner since day one and the news of the “New iPad” for 2012 certainly captured my attention.  I like new tech gadgets but not if they are not ready for primetime.  Users have told me they liked the iPad 1 but it was a great upgrade to iPad 2.  I’m not convinced just yet that the upgrade is necessary for me.  Though these enhancements would be nice, the iPad 2 is still an excellent device.  Most would be happy with either one.  There aren’t many companies making devices like these that people are even thrilled to get the older model. Since the iPad 2 has a $100 price drop, that makes it an even more valuable tool for schools.  I’m not certain that paying the extra money is worth it when you buy hundreds of these devices for schools.  If you are new to iPad you certainly won’t be disappointed with buying the iPad 2.  Share your thoughts!

I still have ipad 1. I have never laid hands on an ipad 2. I’m sorta glad I don’t know what I’m missing. I like my ipad just fine.
